FY2020 IMLS Grant Opportunities

#1

The Institute of Museum and Library Services is now accepting FY 2020 proposals for National Leadership Grants for Libraries (NLG-L) and the Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian program (LB21).
Please feel free to let me or any IMLS program officer know if you have questions about any of the open funding opportunities with IMLS for fiscal year 2020. The deadline for applications (2-page preliminary proposals) is Sept. 27, 2019.

Please share this notice with your professional networks:

I am happy to look at drafts of your ideas or counsel regarding any questions you may have.

Also feel free to set up a consultation with me over the phone if necessary.

There are a few changes to the application process for fiscal year 2020.

Among many of the areas that IMLS is interested in are projects specifically related to lifelong learning, community engagement, open educational resources, data privacy/security, digital inclusion (including telehealth and E-rate), open data, civic data, civic technology and eBooks.

Thanks.
