More arrests made from BLM social media posts

So this is an escalation of the tactic we talked about in class on Thursday. A few things seem significant here:

  • one of the arrestees shared a bunch of stuff on social media and was later targeted himself
  • it’s not clear if the charges are coming from feds (like the case we talked about) or local police
  • it’s not clear how they “obtained” the photos from the person mentioned in this piece but there was someone on twitter saying that there was a no-knock warrant served on their home (i can’t get this verified)

It remains to be seen if they’ll try to connect these arrested folks with “antifa” like they have with others.
