"More Than Half of U.S. Adults Trust Law Enforcement to Use Facial Recognition Responsibly"

Pew Internet reported :"…a new Pew Research Center survey finds that a majority of Americans (56%) trust law enforcement agencies to use these technologies responsibly. A similar share of the public (59%) says it is acceptable for law enforcement to use facial recognition tools to assess security threats in public spaces."

Too bad the majority of American’s don’t understand the ramifications of what they believe to be okay. Good thing we had this class and can start educating them on the real dangers.

Yet another boon of LFI.

I feel like now I have to mention that law enforcement aren’t necessarily going to do good things with your data in my privacy workshops.
